Dispensary Manager

About the Role

You'll manage the dispensary operations at CVS Group's warehouse facility in Diss, Norfolk. This is a full-time permanent position where you'll take ownership of medication dispensing, team leadership, and regulatory compliance across a busy veterinary medicines operation. You'll work with a supportive team environment that values collaboration and continuous improvement.

This role sits at the heart of CVS Group's logistics chain, ensuring every medication order is processed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with VMD regulations and Good Dispensing Practice standards. You'll have the autonomy to drive efficiency improvements while maintaining the highest standards of service to our veterinary clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold stringent adherence to Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) regulations, Practice SOPs, and Good Dispensing Practice (GDP) standards
• Manage the dispensing of medications in line with veterinary instructions, ensuring accuracy and prompt processing
• Lead and develop the dispensary team, organizing workloads and fostering effective collaboration
• Oversee computer systems for stock management and dispensing records, ensuring meticulous record-keeping
• Identify and implement process improvements in partnership with the Operations Manager to enhance efficiency
• Maintain high service standards by ensuring customer orders are dispensed with precision and speed

Requirements

• Proven supervisory or management experience within a dispensary environment
• SQP/EQP certification in relevant disciplines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organisational and time management abilities
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with veterinary medications and experience with pharmacy robotics
• Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available for this role)
