This is an out of hours ECC Veterinary Surgeon role based at CVS Vets 24/7 in Carmarthen, working on an annualised hours basis. The position includes 1 weekend per month, with a 12 hour shift covering Saturday and Sunday, and accommodation is available on site for nights if needed.
You will be joining a dedicated OOH service that offers a consult and surgery mix, alongside support for developing your interests. The work is varied and includes ECC, with the wider caseload at Carmarthen Veterinary Centre spanning complex orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, exotics and wildlife.
Carmarthen Veterinary Centre is described as a purpose built, award winning hospital in the heart of West Wales. It is RCVS accredited and holds awards for In-patient Service, Client Service and Patient Consultation Service.
The hospital has a highly experienced and supportive team, including 4 ECC small animal vets and a nursing and support team. It is well equipped, with a recent CT scanner installation strengthening its diagnostic capability.
