You'll undertake a structured residency programme in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists, a large multidisciplinary referral hospital in Hampshire. This is a fixed-term position offering comprehensive training in anaesthesia, pain management, perioperative care and critical care medicine.
The role includes dedicated time working alongside ACVECC/ECVECC and ACVIM/ECVIM Internal Medicine Specialists, designed to enhance your clinical skills in managing acutely unwell and high-risk patients. You'll gain exposure to both small and large animal cases within a teaching-focused environment that prioritises mentorship, structured learning and professional development. The hospital is located just outside the market town of Alton on the edge of the South Downs National Park, with excellent transport links to London (50 minutes by train), Winchester, Guildford and the South Coast.
You'll join a team of six ECVAA Specialists, one other ECVAA resident and a large, experienced team of RVNs, working across multidisciplinary and emergency and critical care services.
