This part-time position offers a genuinely mixed caseload split equally between farm and equine work. You'll support varied cases including beef, dairy, sheep, camelids, smallholders and first-opinion equine patients from a well-equipped clinic in Paddock Wood, Kent. The role is flexible and can be tailored to suit your interests and strengths.
Based at Putlands Veterinary Surgery, an RCVS-accredited practice established in 1977, you'll benefit from a supportive, team-focused culture. You'll have access to x-ray, Easi-Scan ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, equine dental equipment and fertility testing equipment. A pool vehicle is provided for farm and equine visits.
This is a Monday to Friday role, 8am to 5pm, with a large animal on-call rota currently running at 1:4, managed on a time off in lieu basis.
