About the Role

Ashfield Veterinary Surgery, a well-established first-opinion practice on the outskirts of Durham, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their experienced and compassionate team. This flexible role offers two contract options: part-time (29.5 hours over 3 days with 1:4 Saturday cover) or full-time (40 hours over 4 days with 1:4 Saturday cover). For the right candidate, a consult-only position is available.

You'll work across routine check-ups, preventative treatments, complex surgery, and ongoing medical support, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a team that genuinely values clinical excellence and colleague wellbeing. Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
