Market Cross Veterinary Clinic is a small animal first-opinion practice established in 2003, conveniently located just off the high street in Dalkeith with plenty of lunch options nearby and close to Dalkeith Country Park. This full-time position includes Saturday mornings on a rotating basis. You'll be joining a compact, tight-knit nursing team of just 2 nurses, an SVN, and a PCA who genuinely enjoy working together and socialise outside work too.
The clinic boasts state-of-the-art facilities including digital x-ray, multi-parameter monitors, ultrasound, video endoscopy, and capabilities in soft tissue, orthopaedic, and ocular surgery. As a nurse training practice, the team actively invests in developing junior staff, and staff wellbeing is prioritised with routine check-ins to ensure everyone feels supported and fulfilled in their role. The caseload is deliberately varied and interesting, with a strong philosophy around low-stress handling and delivering the calmest possible experience for patients.
