This is a fantastic opportunity to join Buchan Vets as a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon across their Fraserburgh and Peterhead practices in North Aberdeenshire. Working 40 hours per week with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments, you'll enjoy full or part-time flexible options to suit your lifestyle. The practices are based in beautiful countryside where castles, beaches, mountains, golfing, sailing and dolphin spotting are all within an hour's drive, with Aberdeen airport less than an hour away.
You'll work with a super-friendly, welcoming and supportive team in a modern small animal practice equipped with blood analysers, ultrasound and radiography. With an even balance of consulting and operating, there's plenty of opportunity to develop skills in your preferred area. An experienced and enthusiastic nursing team runs nurse clinics routinely and provides expert support, whilst access to the wider CVS group brings routine access to advanced surgical, dental and clinical support.
You'll also benefit from Vet Oracle, a unique digital teleservice led by veterinary specialists and referral clinicians offering interpretations and advice in medicine, radiology, cardiology, dermatology, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology and dentistry.
