Join Haygate Vets Wellington as a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a 9-month fixed-term contract with the potential to extend to 12 months. This is a daytime-only role with no out-of-hours commitments, working 40 hours across 4 or 5 days with flexibility built in. You'll have a share in the 1 in 5 Saturday rota, and the practice is happy to work with you on scheduling, even offering rotating patterns of four and five-day weeks if that suits your life better.
Based in Wellington, a vibrant market town in mid-Shropshire with excellent transport links to Telford and Shrewsbury, Haygate Vets is a busy, well-established first opinion small animal practice. The team is passionate and community-focused, bringing together vets, nurses, VCAs, and receptionists who genuinely care. You'll have access to excellent facilities including a newly installed CT machine, lap kit, high-spec lab equipment, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, separate nurse consult rooms, dedicated wards, and modern theatres.
As a training practice, Haygate actively develops its nursing team through Schedule 3 procedures and support for student nurses, giving you real scope to grow your skills and confidence.
