No Sunday or bank holiday working. Out-of-hours cover provided by external OOH provider.
County Vet Group Sandbach is recruiting a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in this pretty market town in the heart of Cheshire. You'll work 30-40 hours across 3-4 days with no Sundays or bank holidays, and the practice is open to part-time applications if that suits your lifestyle.
The practice maintains a family atmosphere where patients and people are central. You'll be supported by a Clinical Director with 16 years' experience, a Practice Manager, and two Senior Vets. All clinical interests are welcome, and there's genuine scope to develop your skills with visiting specialists across orthopaedics, soft tissue, and cardiology. The team delivers acupuncture services and has access to the group's Clinical Hub Network and Vet Oracle telemedicine service for case support.
Facilities include laparoscopic equipment, brand new digital X-ray, dental X-ray with processor, and a skilled nursing team including certificate holders in medicine and dentistry. The caseload is varied and manageable, allowing real development opportunities. The practice is supported by an external out-of-hours provider, so you won't cover nights or weekends.
