The Harrogate Vet is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team on a permanent contract across its brand new hospital and Leeds Road practice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The rota is 40 hours a week across either 4 or 5 days, with no Sundays and no OOH. Part time interest is welcome, so you can get in touch if that is the direction you're looking for.
This role places you at the centre of patient care, with a focus on monitoring recovery, supporting wellness and helping clients feel reassured. You will be part of a practice that combines a welcoming community feel at Leeds Road with a 24/7 hospital and referral centre at Rippon Way, plus access to a wide range of facilities and certificate holders across surgery, medicine and imaging.
The Harrogate Vet is part of CVS Veterinary Group and includes the Harrogate Veterinary Hospital and the Leeds Road practice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The hospital side includes Rippon Way, which operates as a 24/7 hospital and referral centre for advanced imaging and complex cases.
The practice has digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameters, endoscopy, CT scanning, in-house lab equipment, a cat-only consulting room, and separate cat and dog wards. It also holds ISFM Gold Cat Friendly accreditation and Zero Pain Practice status, with a strong fear-free ethos and a well established team that includes certificate holders in surgery, medicine and imaging.
