Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

This Registered Veterinary Nurse role is based at Haygate Vets, Madeley, part of CVS Veterinary Group, and sits within a first opinion small animal practice in Telford, Shropshire. You'll work 40 hours across 4 or 5 days, with a mixture of early and later shifts between 8am and 7pm, plus 1 in 5 Saturdays and no out of hours.

The practice describes a positive, open culture where every voice is heard, and nurses are fully utilised in their roles, including Schedule 3 procedures. The location also offers access to surrounding countryside and areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the care and recovery of patients as part of the clinical team.
• Contribute to the day to day nursing of first opinion small animal patients.
• Carry out Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate.
• Help maintain a positive, welcoming environment for clients, colleagues, and patients.
• Use strong written and verbal communication to build good relationships with clients and the team.

Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Nurse.
• Passion for delivering high quality care to patients and their owners.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the role.
