Join Albavet's friendly and supportive small animal team as a Veterinary Surgeon. This role offers genuine flexibility: work full-time across 4 days (40 hours) or part-time (20 hours), with no out-of-hours or on-call commitments. The practice is happy to discuss alternative patterns if that works better for you.
You'll be working across a well-equipped multi-site practice spanning Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Burntisland, and Dalgety Bay, backed by a team of 12 experienced vets. High-quality patient care and genuine team collaboration sit at the heart of everything the practice does.
Albavet is part of the CVS Veterinary Group and operates across four locations in Fife: Dunfermline (main site), Kirkcaldy, Burntisland, and Dalgety Bay. The practice is supported by an experienced team of 12 vets and prides itself on delivering high-quality veterinary care in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The practice is well-equipped with modern facilities including laparoscopic equipment, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital X-ray, and dental X-ray. The clinical team includes certificate holders in Surgery and Emergency and Critical Care (ECC), with regular visits from specialist surgeons for complex cases. Overnight care for stable inpatients is provided at the main practices, supported by a dedicated team of night nurses. The practice also benefits from the Vet Oracle support platform for guidance on medicine, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, and more.
