You will be joining Camlas Veterinary Centre in Welshpool as a Veterinary Surgeon in a permanent part-time role. The post is 11 hours a week, worked on Mondays only, with no out-of-hours.
This is a small animal, first opinion position in a practice that describes itself as genuinely supportive and well established. You will be working alongside a long-standing team with a strong culture of collaboration, regular social activities, and experienced certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology.
The practice also offers access to laparoscopic surgery equipment, dental x-ray, digital x-ray, in-house lab, and ultrasound. Accommodation is available if needed.
Provide first opinion small animal veterinary care in the Welshpool practice.
Take the lead on medical cases and carry out diagnostic investigations.
Work within a team culture that shares best practice and supports clinical improvement.
Support colleagues and contribute as a mentor and team player where appropriate.
Deliver reassuring client care and build long-lasting relationships with owners.
Use the available clinical facilities, including laparoscopic surgery, x-ray, laboratory, and ultrasound.
You will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical autonomy.
You should be confident in your clinical skills and comfortable handling a varied caseload.
You need to be keen to develop further confidence and broaden your clinical skills.
You should be able to guide the wider team and help shape clinical standards.
You should be a natural mentor and team player with a client-focused approach.
Salary up to £55,000 FTE, depending on experience.
Permanent part-time hours, 11 hours a week on Mondays only.

RCVS and VDS fees paid in full.
