This Senior Theatre Nurse role is based at Donnington Grove, a large equine hospital and ambulatory practice in Newbury. You will be joining an experienced nursing team and working within a supportive, specialist-led environment where collaboration, mentoring and ongoing development are part of everyday working life.
The caseload is varied, covering sports and leisure horses through to racehorses and foals. You will be involved in theatre nursing, peri-operative patient care and supporting the smooth running of surgical services, while also helping guide junior colleagues and contribute to theatre standards and protocols.
The rota is full time, 40 hours per week across 5 days. Shifts run between 7:00am and 8:30pm, with early and late starts to cover morning and afternoon theatre, and the weekend commitment is 1 in 7 weekends from 8:00am to 8:30pm.
