Fenton Vets is seeking an experienced large animal veterinary surgeon to join its dedicated farm team in Pembrokeshire. The role is based in Haverfordwest and offers full-time work as the preferred option, with flexible working considered.
You will be part of a well-established team that includes 12 large animal vets and two TB testers, with five of the farm vets bringing more than 20 years of experience. The caseload is varied and rewarding, with the chance to build lasting relationships with farmers while contributing to a collaborative, supportive way of working.
The practice works with dairy, beef and sheep enterprises, as well as smallholders, across Pembrokeshire. Its location also offers access to the coastline, countryside and an active agricultural community.
Fenton Vets is a proudly independent, vet-led practice that has served Pembrokeshire's pets and farms since 1950. Its farm and small animal services are delivered by separate clinical teams, allowing the farm side to focus on large animal practice.
The practice is an active member of XLVets and is rooted locally, with an emphasis on honesty, integrity, compassion and strong client, patient and community relationships. The farm team is based at the Haverfordwest practice, with further support from an internship programme and an RVC Production Animal Resident already working within the practice.
