Love the idea of splitting your week between progressive beef farmers, dairy herds, and small animal surgery? This fixed-term role in the Scottish Borders offers genuine variety—farm work that ranges from routine health planning to emergency cases, plus a modern small animal practice with DR, dental X-ray, and ultrasound.

🕐 Schedule & Rota

Farm-only on-call rota: typically 1 in 7 or 1 in 8, stepping up to 1 in 4 (with two vets on call) during spring period. Time off in lieu given for weekend on-call shifts.

About the Role

You’ll join Galedin Vets’ Duns branch as a mixed animal vet, covering maternity leave from June with potential to become permanent.
