About the Role
Grove Lodge Vets is a busy first-opinion and referral hospital in Worthing, perfectly positioned near the seafront and South Downs with excellent links to Gatwick and London. You'll join a clinical team of 20 registered veterinary nurses, working across a wide range of specialist disciplines including orthopaedics, cardiology, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging with on-site CT.
This is a full-time role offering flexible working patterns: either 4 x 10-hour days with the option to include Saturday mornings on a 1:10 rota (7:30 am–12:30 pm, with weekday time off in exchange), or a fixed 8 am–7 pm schedule with a dedicated weekday off. The practice is a host for Vets Now, meaning you'll have no out-of-hours or bank holiday commitments—your evenings and weekends are genuinely yours to enjoy.
The hospital features separate dog and cat wards, isolation facilities, a dedicated dental suite, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasound, digital X-ray, laser therapy, and an in-house laboratory. You'll work alongside RCVS Certificate holders and visiting specialists in a supportive culture where learning and development are genuinely encouraged.

About the Practice
Grove Lodge Vets is an established first-opinion and referral hospital serving Worthing and the surrounding South Coast region. Part of IVC Evidensia (the UK and Europe's leading veterinary care group of over 900 practices and referral hospitals), the practice combines independent clinical excellence with access to wider resources and career opportunities. The team includes RCVS Certificate holders and Diploma holders in Medicine, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Dermatology, and Diagnostic Imaging, meaning most conditions can be treated on-site without referral elsewhere.
The practice is committed to high standards of patient care and ongoing professional development. All vets and nurses regularly undertake further studies to stay current with the latest veterinary medicine developments. The hospital maintains separate facilities for dogs, cats, and infectious cases, with comprehensive monitoring equipment and multiparameter observation standards across all procedures. Owners receive regular telephone or text updates on their pets' progress during hospitalisation.
