This fixed-term opportunity invites a highly organised and logistically-minded RVN to step into a unique leadership position at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists, a large multidisciplinary referral hospital in Ringwood, Hampshire. You'll be the heartbeat of the clinical floor, coordinating workflows across nine specialist disciplines including Anaesthesia, Cardiology, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedics and Soft Tissue Surgery. Working full-time Monday to Friday (40 hours, with part-time considered), you'll report to the Clinical Nursing Manager and manage the dynamic scheduling demands of referral and emergency work without routine clinical duties.
The role sits at the intersection of strategy and action. You'll plan each day's referral procedures, oversee departmental workflows, reallocate resources decisively when emergencies arise, and audit efficiency metrics across the hospital. This is about orchestration, not intervention.
