This is a structured route into Emergency and Critical Care for a veterinary surgeon who wants supported progression into ECC. You’ll complete an 8-week Cutting Edge training programme before joining an ECC clinic of your choice on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role combines interactive seminars, practical sessions and personalised clinical mentorship, with 250 hours of CPD delivered by recognised ECC specialists. You’ll also gain hands-on experience in your chosen clinic, with guidance from an experienced senior clinician, plus training at the Central Support hub in Scotland where accommodation is provided.
After training, you can choose a rota that suits your lifestyle, working between 30 and 40 hours per week. The rota is designed with no more than three nights in a row and an average of three shifts per week.
The role is with Inspiring Vet Care and sits within the Cutting Edge ECC programme. The advert presents the organisation as the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care and highlights investment in ECC development through world-class CPD, practical training and clinical mentorship.
Opportunities are available across a wide range of clinics in the UK, including High Wycombe. Each clinic can accommodate only one Cutting Edge veterinarian, and applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
