This full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract offers a rare opportunity to join Lawrence Veterinary Centre, a friendly first opinion practice on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border. You'll work 40 hours per week across a 5-day rota with shifts between 7:45am and 7:30pm, plus one in six Saturday mornings (8:30am to 1:00pm). Best of all, there's no out-of-hours commitment, making this an ideal role for work-life balance.
You'll become an integral member of a dedicated clinical team: 10 veterinary surgeons (including specialists in cardiology and feline medicine), 11 registered veterinary nurses, 1 VCA, and support colleagues. Many team members have been with the practice for over 10 years, reflecting a stable, supportive culture where people genuinely enjoy working together.
The practice is well-equipped with dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and Idexx laboratory equipment, enabling you to deliver excellent nursing care across a varied caseload.
