This is a permanent part time Registered Veterinary Nurse position at Scarsdale Vets, Park Farm. The role is built around 27.5 hours a week over 3 days, with Mondays and Fridays at the Park Farm Allestree branch, a variable third day covering other Scarsdale sites, and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings from 08:30 to 13:00.
You’ll take an active role in first opinion nursing, from nurse led consultations on Mondays to admitting routine procedure patients on Fridays. The work includes wellness and preventative healthcare, chronic illness management, weight management, senior pet clinics, dental health and post operative care, alongside theatre prep, pre medication, anaesthetic monitoring, recovery and discharge.
The practice is supported by a Tier 3 accredited hospital and eight sister sites, with RCVS accreditation under the Practice Standards Scheme. You’ll also be working in a fear free environment that includes a cat only clinic and behaviour appointments, plus access to lab resources, digital x ray, ultrasound, a fully equipped theatre suite with prep area, and multiple consulting rooms.
