You'll join St Mary's Veterinary Clinic, a small animal practice nestled in Dorset with easy access to the Jurassic Coast and New Forest, plus excellent transport links to Bournemouth and Poole. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, including some late shifts until 6:45pm and Saturday mornings (1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am to 12:30pm).
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you'll play an important role supporting the clinical team in delivering high standards of patient and client care. You'll work under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, assisting with inpatient care, patient handling and restraint, maintaining clinical areas and equipment, and ensuring the practice environment remains safe and welcoming.
The practice is part of the inspiring vet care Graduate Academy and a recognised nurse training practice, which means you'll have access to structured development opportunities and clear career pathways into Student Veterinary Nurse roles and beyond.
