Heartland Vets is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team in the heart of Highland Perthshire. This is a permanent mixed animal position, with fixed-term opportunities also considered for the right candidate.
You will be working across a genuinely varied caseload, with around 60% small animal and 40% large animal work, plus equine cases. The role offers flexibility too, with full-time and part-time applications considered, condensed hours and school-hour arrangements available where possible, no routine weekend commitments outside the out-of-hours rota, and a 1 in 5 out-of-hours rota covering weekends and weeknights.
The practice operates across two sites, with a main hub in Aberfeldy and a branch practice in Pitlochry. The team includes 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 RVNs, a Student Veterinary Nurse and 6 support colleagues, alongside digital radiography, ultrasound, an Ovacyte faecal analyser, a stance analyser, PRP therapy equipment, bull fertility testing equipment and a motorised equine dental kit.
