This is a full-time Equine Veterinary Surgeon role with an interest in orthopaedics. The practice is looking for someone with an orthopaedic, diagnostic imaging, or lameness certificate, or someone currently working towards one, and the role offers up to £75,000 DOE plus a relocation allowance.
You will be joining a clinic in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, just outside Wendover, with local amenities nearby, outstanding schools in the area, and transport links into London and international airports. Breaks can be spent in the communal kitchen or out walking in Wendover Woods.
The caseload is mixed and ranges from pony club ponies through to amateur and competition horses, with the occasional donkey. The onsite facility includes a treatment room, five stables, an equine theatre with an induction and recovery room, paddocks, a trot up area, a hard lunge, and a lunge menage.
