Lead a skilled nursing team in a coastal Kent practice where development is genuinely supported and your clinical leadership will be valued. No out-of-hours commitments means you can actually switch off.
Join White Cliffs Veterinary Surgery as Head Veterinary Nurse, leading a close-knit team of six Registered Veterinary Nurses in a spacious small animal practice. You'll work full-time on a daytime-only basis (no out-of-hours shifts), split across 4 x 10-hour shifts between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm, with occasional Saturday mornings. The practice sits in a beautiful part of Kent, surrounded by stunning coastline and countryside, with easy access to the iconic White Cliffs of Dover, the historic city of Canterbury, and mainland Europe via the nearby port.
This role suits an experienced, confident RVN who thrives on taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a practice. With the Practice Manager not always on site, you'll play a key role in supporting smooth operations and providing leadership to the nursing team. The practice actively encourages learning and development, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced senior and visiting colleagues while sharing knowledge across the team.
The practice is well equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, a fully equipped laboratory, and video endoscopy, and benefits from a loyal client base and a longstanding, supportive team culture.
