You'll join The Oak Veterinary Group in Haverfordwest as Lead Veterinary Surgeon, working alongside the Practice Director to lead the clinical team. Approximately 75% of your time will be spent delivering varied clinical cases, with the remaining 25% dedicated to leadership responsibilities, mentoring colleagues, and driving practice growth. You'll work full-time across a 37.5-hour week, with shifts between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.
The Oak Veterinary Group is a well-established small animal practice in Haverfordwest, part of IVC Evidensia. The team includes a Senior Vet, six Veterinary Surgeons, a Head RVN, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Animal Care Assistants, a Practice Director, Reception Coordinator, Client Care Team, and a Hydrotherapy Rehabilitation Coordinator. An Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery leads complex orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures in-house, with several vets trained in acupuncture.
Facilities include hydrotherapy with aquatic treadmill, physiotherapy and laser therapy equipment, massage therapy, vet-led acupuncture, comprehensive surgical and dentistry facilities, in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, and endoscopy.
