Receptionist

About the Role

ParkVets is a well-established multi-site practice with a strong reputation for delivering outstanding veterinary care and exceptional client service. As a Receptionist on a full-time permanent basis, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, setting a welcoming, professional and compassionate tone at every interaction. You'll work across seven sites in the South East London area, operating Monday to Sunday between 7:00am and 8:00pm, giving you exposure to a busy, supportive practice environment where client care is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and create a positive, reassuring experience at every visit
• Manage appointments, handle client enquiries and support communications using practice management systems
• Support the clinical team to ensure smooth day-to-day running across all seven practice locations
• Operate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook to manage information and communications
• Travel between practices to provide consistent reception support across branches
• Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure positive client and patient journeys
• Continually develop your skills as services and practices evolve

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner
• Experience in a customer-facing role with strong focus on service and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues
• Proactive attitude with openness to feedback and learning
• Organised and personable individual who enjoys working as part of a team
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and flexible hours (7:00am to 8:00pm, Monday to Sunday)
