Join Dorset Coast Vets as a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a part-time, fixed-term contract (approximately 12 months). You'll work across the Dorchester and Weymouth branches, delivering high-quality nursing care in a modern, well-equipped small animal practice where nursing is genuinely central to patient care. This role offers genuine work-life balance: 22.5 hours per week spread across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with no out-of-hours cover, no Sundays, and no bank holiday commitments. Saturdays are optional on a relaxed 1:8 rota.
The practice is well-staffed and supportive, with six veterinary surgeons and ten fellow nurses creating a collaborative culture focused on learning and patient care. You'll have access to excellent facilities including two dental suites, digital radiography, ultrasound, and dedicated dog and cat wards. There's also a dedicated nurse consulting room where you can fully utilise your RVN scope of practice.
