This full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position offers a varied and rewarding clinical nursing role across two established South London practices. Located on either side of Crystal Palace, both Paxton Vets clinics have been serving the local community for over 50 years and are well known in the area. You'll work a 40-hour week across five days with a manageable 1 in 5 Saturday rota (8:30am to 5:45pm, with time off in lieu), giving you genuine work-life balance alongside purposeful clinical work.
You'll join a nursing team of five, supported by a Head Nurse, Practice Manager, seven veterinary surgeons, dedicated receptionists, and veterinary care assistants. The clinics are well equipped with modern facilities including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, multiparameter monitors, in-house IDEXX lab machines (haematology, biochemistry, electrolytes, sedivue urinalysis), Tonopen, ECG, blood pressure monitors, and basic orthopaedic kit. Every day brings a wide variety of first opinion small animal cases.
