Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

You'll join Hunt's Veterinary Clinic as a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a part-time basis, working across the Woodley and Poynton branches. This role is perfect for an RVN who thrives on variety and client interaction. Working 31 hours per week across Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (plus Saturday rotas), you'll balance hands-on nursing care with client-facing nurse consultations, building lasting relationships with pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care across a varied first opinion small animal caseload
• Lead nurse consultations focused on preventative healthcare and client education
• Support veterinary surgeons and nursing colleagues with clinical procedures and patient care throughout the day
• Communicate with clients professionally and compassionately during nurse-led appointments and general interactions
• Contribute to maintaining clinical standards and supporting ongoing improvements in patient care

Requirements

• Current RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
• Proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous professional improvement
