Ready to lead? This thriving North Somerset small animal practice is seeking a confident Senior Vet to shape their clinical direction, mentor the team, and enjoy a genuine work-life balance with flexible hours available.
Wellpets Worle is a well-established small animal practice serving the local North Somerset community for over 30 years. You'll step into a leadership position where you'll mentor and guide a small, close-knit team, drive positive clinical change, and implement new processes while maintaining high standards. This role offers genuine flexibility: full-time 40 hours per week is ideal, but the practice is keen to discuss part-time, school hours, or bespoke rotas to suit your life outside work. There's also an opportunity to split your time across their second site in Yeovil as the team continues to grow.
The practice is modern and well-equipped with in-house Idexx biochemistry, haematology and SNAP testing, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, DR digital X-ray, ultrasound scanner, and laser therapy. You'll build a caseload suited to your interests, from routine procedures to more advanced surgeries. If orthopaedics appeals to you, they're happy to support that specialism. You'll also collaborate with other IVC practices across the region, expanding services and developing clinical interests.
Worle is a family-friendly suburban location just three miles from Weston super Mare, with excellent transport links including the M5 one mile away, Bristol Airport 15 miles away, and direct trains to London, Bristol, Taunton, and Cardiff. A relocation allowance is available to ease your move.
