Shinfield Vets is a well-equipped small animal practice in Reading with modern facilities including a recently expanded consultation area. The practice benefits from light, airy rooms with natural light throughout and pleasant gardens for breaks. You'll develop your clinical interests while contributing to a positive, supportive practice culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical care across a varied small animal caseload including routine medicine and surgery
- Perform soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, and other core small animal procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team, including specialist interest areas such as cardiology and ophthalmology
- Contribute to clinical culture and support the development of colleagues
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through excellent communication
- Continue developing your clinical skills and professional interests
Requirements
- Veterinary degree with RCVS registration or eligibility to register
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proactive approach to learning with openness to feedback and development
- Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
