Shinfield Vets is a well-equipped small animal practice in Reading with modern facilities including a recently expanded consultation area. The practice benefits from light, airy rooms with natural light throughout and pleasant gardens for breaks. You'll develop your clinical interests while contributing to a positive, supportive practice culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care across a varied small animal caseload including routine medicine and surgery
• Perform soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, and other core small animal procedures
• Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team, including specialist interest areas such as cardiology and ophthalmology
• Contribute to clinical culture and support the development of colleagues
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through excellent communication
• Continue developing your clinical skills and professional interests

Requirements

• Veterinary degree with RCVS registration or eligibility to register
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
• Proactive approach to learning with openness to feedback and development
• Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
