Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse for a part-time twilight position. Working approximately 30 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (16:00–23:00), plus a 1-in-4 Saturday rota, you'll deliver advanced nursing care within a dedicated wards facility. This is a permanent role offering real scope for specialist nursing practice.
You'll support the daily case management of complex hospitalised patients during the critical transition between day and night teams. The hospital houses two primary dog wards, an ICU/high-dependency unit, and a separate cat ward, with an anaesthesia team available around the clock and dedicated specialists on call for each discipline. Your work will be genuinely collaborative, contributing specialist nursing expertise to multidisciplinary clinical decision-making and continuously improving standards within your discipline.
