You'll spend 12 months working alongside two highly experienced Neurology Diplomates at a modern, 24-hour multidisciplinary referral hospital. This is designed specifically for vets serious about pursuing neurology residency. You'll gain exposure to complex neurological cases, participate in diagnostic imaging (on-site MRI and CT), and be actively involved in patient care, client communication, and both medical and surgical case management.
The role includes varying shifts to suit the hospital's needs, with 1-in-4 weekend cover for Neurology and HDU services and occasional out-of-hours work. You'll be expected to contribute to ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical governance while maintaining meticulous records and written correspondence.
