About the Role

This Veterinary Surgeon opportunity at Inspiring Vet Care, Wyken offers a 40 hour week over 4 days, with Saturday mornings on a 1:2 rota from 09:00 to 12:00. There are no out of hours or on call duties, and part time applications can also be considered.

You will be joining a small animal practice where the rota can be tailored around your clinical preferences. The role includes consulting, operating, and working closely with experienced nursing colleagues, with an expectation that you will be comfortable covering sole charge when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out consultations and surgical work as part of the small animal clinical team.
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver high standards of patient and client care.
• Contribute to a varied and rewarding caseload.
• Support the development of colleagues by sharing knowledge and experience.
• Cover sole charge when required.
• Help promote sustainability and productivity within the practice.

Requirements

• Veterinary degree and RCVS registration.
• At least 2 years of post qualification experience.
• Confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive approach to learning and development.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
