You’ll be joining a practice that works across four sites in the region, so occasional travel between branches is part of the job and a full driving licence is essential. The main hospital in Crewkerne is purpose-built and well equipped, and there is a visiting orthopaedic specialist involved in more advanced surgical cases.
The rota is structured around sustainability, with 40 hours across four days for full-time, plus a 1:3 Saturday morning rota from 8:30am to 1pm on a sole-charge basis. Part-time applicants working 30+ hours per week are also considered, and there are no out-of-hours requirements.
