About the Role
Parkvets is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon for a full-time or part-time post, with full-time typically 40 hours across 4 days. The rota includes a mix of early shifts starting at 7:30am and late shifts starting at 10:30am, and shifts are spread across the hospital and branches to give variety and exposure.
This role would suit a medicine-focused vet, as surgery is currently once every two weeks. You'll be working in a supportive environment where you can grow your skills, collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a clinical culture that values development and shared learning.

Requirements
- A veterinary degree and RCVS registration, or eligibility to register.
- Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
- Professionalism, reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A genuine passion for excellent patient and client care.

About the Practice
Parkvets, Sidcup is a large multidisciplinary hospital with direct links to London. The practice has separate cat, dog and exotics wards, with dedicated operating theatres, dental suites, ultrasound facilities, flexible and rigid endoscopy, laparoscopic equipment and x-ray.
The in-house laboratory is staffed by biomedical professionals, and the team includes certificate holders in Imaging, Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Exotics and Dentistry.
