This is your chance to join Alora Vets, a purpose-built small animal practice ideally positioned between Glasgow and Edinburgh on the M8 corridor. You'll work with a close-knit, progressive team where collaboration and continuous learning are genuinely central to daily practice. The role offers a comfortable 40-hour week across four days, with Saturday mornings on a 1:5 rota (8:30am to 1:00pm), followed by Friday off as time off in lieu. Crucially, there's no out-of-hours responsibility: emergency care is handled by dedicated Vets Now teams in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
You'll work alongside a Clinical Director and Lead Veterinary Surgeon who both hold certificates in Small Animal Medicine and Dentistry. This is a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is actively encouraged, and you'll have the space to continue developing your own clinical interests while contributing to the team's positive culture. The caseload is varied and first-opinion focused, with excellent team support and genuine clinical freedom.

Alora Vets is a modern, purpose-built small animal practice located just off the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The team comprises four veterinary surgeons, 4.5 registered veterinary nurses, a Head RVN, a Practice Manager, two Animal Care Assistants, a Head Receptionist and four receptionists. The practice is well equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery capability, and offers acupuncture and physiotherapy services. It operates under IVC Evidensia, the UK's number one veterinary care provider, trusted with the care of over two million animals.
