You'll join a well-established small animal practice on the Hampshire coastline, combining the charm of a thriving market practice with easy access to Southampton and Portsmouth. This full-time position offers an excellent balance of consultations and surgery, with the opportunity to work up cases thoroughly while developing your own clinical interests.
The practice delivers gold-standard in-house care, meaning you'll gain exposure to advanced procedures including orthopaedics, laparoscopy, BOAS surgery, and cardiology alongside routine first-opinion work. You'll work a standard 42-hour week with a 1-in-5 weekend rota and enjoy a four-day break following each worked weekend.

The practice is a close-knit team of five veterinary surgeons and eight veterinary nurses with a long-established reputation for excellence and training, having trained student nurses for over 26 years.
The practice is well-equipped with ultrasound, cardiac ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, surgical laser, and orthopaedic equipment including MMP and SOP kits. The team includes a certificate holder in Cardiology and Medicine, vets experienced in laparoscopic surgery, and a nursing team committed to collaboration, learning, and enjoying their work both inside and outside the practice.
