Saturday morning rota 1 in 5 and emergency day cover 1 in 8 for the practice's own clients only. No on-call commitments.
This full-time or part-time position offers a four-day working week (41 hours) with shifts from 8:00am to 6:30pm, meaning no on-call commitments and balanced weekend working with extra time off. You'll work within a large, collaborative team at a well-established practice that's been serving the Witham community for over 50 years.
Spring Lodge offers genuine clinical depth alongside routine work. You'll see a mix of dogs, cats, small furries and wildlife, supported by certificate holders in ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and cardiology. The practice holds hospital status, giving you exposure to complex cases while maintaining a sustainable caseload.
Based in Powers Hall End, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, direct trains to London, easy access to the A12, and plenty of green space nearby, creating a peaceful setting with genuine work-life balance.
