This permanent veterinary surgeon position is based at St George's Vets Fallings Park in Wolverhampton, with the option to work one day per week at the main Wolverhampton Hospital (relocating to a purpose-built facility in late 2027). You'll have genuine flexibility to shape your role around your lifestyle, whether that's adjusting rota hours, location, or caseload. There's no out-of-hours or on-call work required.
A typical full-time role runs 40 hours across four weekdays, with a shared Saturday rota. You'll deliver high-standard patient and client care across a varied small animal caseload, working collaboratively with a high-calibre team of certificate holders, advanced practitioners, and skilled nursing staff.
St George's Vets Fallings Park is part of the Vet Care network, operating under IVC Evidensia, the UK's largest veterinary care provider serving over 2 million animals. The practice is equipped with modern facilities including operating theatres, Idexx labs, ultrasound, dental X-ray, CT scanner, digital X-ray, digital microscope, endoscope, and laparoscopic kit. The Fallings Park site is ideally located with excellent transport connectivity: 8 minutes from M54 Junction 1, 5 minutes walk from Wolverhampton train station (with links to Birmingham, London, Liverpool, and Manchester), and 40 minutes from Birmingham Airport.
