Wymondham is a charming historic market town just a short drive from Norwich, offering excellent countryside, local amenities, and strong community spirit. Direct train links to Norwich and London make it ideal for veterinary professionals seeking rural tranquility without sacrificing connectivity.
Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership operates five well-established sites across Norfolk, with the Wymondham branch located in a custom-designed modern building on Postmill Close since 2002. The practice features digital radiography, modern ultrasound with Doppler, new dental radiography (iM3 X-ray machine), three large consult rooms with a fourth on the way, dedicated prep area and imaging suite, two fully equipped theatres with multiparameter monitors, separate cat and dog waiting areas, kennels, and a peaceful ISFM-accredited cattery. In-house diagnostics include IDEXX haematology and biochemistry analysers, urine analyser, and microscope facilities.
The team comprises 19 small animal vets, 21 registered veterinary nurses, four veterinary care assistants, and dedicated receptionists and support staff. Certificate holders specialise in dermatology, ophthalmology, and orthopaedics, with others currently studying feline medicine, imaging, and cardiology. The practice is part of IVC Evidensia and actively supports animal welfare charities including Dogs Trust, with weekly operating days at the practice.
