This Veterinary Surgeon position is based at Abivale Vets in Wallingford, where you will handle a varied first opinion caseload across consultations and surgery. The role offers clinical freedom to manage and follow your own cases, while giving you the chance to work independently with support from the wider Abivale team.
It is a sole charge position, so confidence in making clinical decisions is important. When you are based at Wallingford, you will also have support from a highly experienced Veterinary Nurse and Receptionist. There is the option to spend one day per week at the main site if preferred, and the rota includes no out of hours or on call requirement.
Wallingford is described as a beautiful part of South Oxfordshire, with countryside living, local amenities and connections to Oxford and London.
Abivale Vets is a well-established group of four practices across Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford and Wantage. All sites are RCVS accredited and equipped to support high-quality first opinion veterinary care.
