About the Practice
Kirks Vets is a longstanding small animal practice with over 100 years of history in Sleaford. Founded under various names, the current Kirks Vets brand was established by Angus Kirk in 2001, coinciding with the construction of a modern £500,000 surgery facility. The practice expanded with a second site in Grantham in 2011. All staff are dedicated to animal welfare and pride themselves on providing excellent service with state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities including ample free parking.
Beyond core veterinary services, the practice offers grooming facilities, puppy parties, weight control clinics, and pet shops at both locations, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to companion animal care. The team is supported by IVC Evidensia, the UK and Europe's leading veterinary care group comprising over 900 practices and referral hospitals, offering access to career development, learning resources, and professional networks without compromising the practice's independent character and local roots.
