Join a specialist referral hospital with state-of-the-art imaging facilities. You'll train across all modalities (radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI) under ECVDI diplomates in a supportive, evidence-based team.
Out-of-hours rota as part of the internship, shared with existing radiographer team. Frequency not specified.
Wear Referrals, a multi-disciplinary specialist veterinary referral hospital in the North East, is recruiting a diagnostic imaging intern to join their growing team. Based near Durham between Newcastle and the Pennines, you'll work with 3 ECVDI diplomates and 4 experienced human radiographers in a dedicated imaging department. This full-time internship is a formal part-of the hospital's rotating internship programme, with the hospital currently applying for residency accreditation.
You'll gain hands-on experience across all imaging modalities, starting with radiography and ultrasonography before progressing to advanced imaging (CT and MRI) acquisition. All reporting will be completed under direct supervision by an ECVDI diploma holder. As part of the department, you'll join the out-of-hours rota alongside the existing radiographer team, gaining practical experience in emergency imaging.
