About the Role

Join the expanding Emergency team at Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service, a world-class purpose-built hospital known for clinical excellence and exceptional patient care. With a carefully designed 8-week rota that includes three full weeks off and a balanced mix of day, evening, and overnight shifts, you'll manage a diverse and rewarding emergency caseload supported by ECC specialists 24/7. You'll focus on high-quality inpatient and critical care, with excellent nurse-to-vet ratios and a dedicated team of Emergency and Night Nurses backing you up.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage diverse emergency and critical care cases, supported by ECC specialists
• Provide high-quality inpatient care with excellent nurse-to-vet ratios
• Collaborate daily with specialists in Anaesthesia, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, ECC, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Orthopaedics
• Work within an 8-week rota cycle including day, evening, and overnight shifts
• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive emergency team committed to clinical excellence

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience in small animal hospital medicine
• Out-of-hours emergency medicine and surgery experience desirable
• Experience working within a hospital or referral setting preferred
• Team-focused approach and commitment to clinical excellence
• Confidence and motivation in a hospital environment
