This is a permanent Night Registered Veterinary Nurse position within Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service, one of the UK's most respected small animal referral hospitals. You'll work a specialist rota pattern of 7 nights on followed by 14 days off, with occasional built-in on-call shifts during rest weeks. The role averages 29.3 hours per week across a 9-week cycle.
Based at the state-of-the-art Solihull facility, you'll be part of an exceptionally friendly and professional nursing team working within a purpose-built hospital equipped with advanced imaging (64-slice CT, 1.5T MRI), two mobile image intensifiers, digital radiography, ultrasonography, and extensive surgical equipment. The rota is genuinely flexible: Willows is open to adjusting patterns to fit around your life, and examples show a mix of 7-night blocks and on-call weeks (typically Monday to Thursday 8pm to 1am, or Friday to Sunday 7.30pm to 1.30am).
Prior referral experience is not essential. You'll receive comprehensive training and support to develop your skills within an environment staffed by internationally-recognised specialists across orthopaedics, neurology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, dermatology, emergency and critical care, and physiotherapy.
