This is a distinctive opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join London Vet Specialists' Patient Flow team at their newly relocated Hammersmith site. Rather than traditional clinical nursing, you'll take on a primarily non-clinical role managing emergency referral triage, patient admissions, and hospital workflow optimisation across a multi-disciplinary referral centre. You'll work collaboratively with the Patient Flow Coordinator, Head of Nursing Services, and clinical teams to ensure smooth patient journeys through the hospital's specialist services including orthopaedic and soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, and neurology. This full-time position offers experience within a referral hospital setting, which is ideal if you're seeking to diversify your nursing career away from frontline clinical work.
The role is based in Hammersmith, West London, with an incredible riverside location. You'll gain exposure to hospital operations, systems management (Animana PMS and SmartFlow inpatient systems), and cross-team communication. During your induction, you'll rotate through clinical services to understand hospital flow, with occasional basic clinical support as needed.
