This is a hands-on day RVN position at Village Vets Berkhamsted, a busy 2-vet small animal practice with a collaborative nursing team of three. You'll be involved in all aspects of patient care, building strong clinical skills while working in a supportive, close-knit environment where your contribution is genuinely valued.
The role offers a solid balance of routine and more complex cases, giving you the chance to develop your skills without the intensity of a large referral setting. The practice has access to exotic medicine through a certificate holder, providing varied clinical exposure. Your rota includes full-time or part-time hours with Saturdays at Berkhamsted, plus a shared Sunday and emergency rota at the St Albans hospital, keeping you primarily day-based while broadening your caseload experience.
