Registered Veterinary Nurse

About the Role

You’ll join Medivet Bloomsbury in the heart of London—a modern practice thoughtfully designed to support excellent veterinary care. This is a full-time permanent position where you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional patient and client care, with opportunities to develop your nursing skills and contribute meaningfully to the clinic’s growth and direction.

The practice is well-equipped with digital and dental x-ray, in-house laboratory facilities, separate dog and cat wards, and a dedicated staff room—creating a calm, efficient working environment. You’ll work alongside Kirsty, the Lead Vet (currently undertaking a dentistry qualification), and a Client Care Assistant in a small, supportive team committed to building a strong client base and maintaining high clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care through nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities
• Support the lead vet with consultations, surgeries, and procedures in line with regulatory and practice standards
• Monitor patients and manage admissions and discharges
• Provide outstanding client communication and care
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, contributing ideas and energy to shape the practice’s future

Requirements

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care

• Salary: £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience
